Like other Blennies, the Sailfin/Algae Blenny will perch on live rock, hide in caves, hop across the substrate, and graze on microalgae. A larger tank with plenty of live rock and rockwork is recommended for optimal care. This species generally gets along with other fish, as long as they do not resemble or compete for resources with the blenny.
