The Foxface Rabbitfish, also known as the Foxface Lo, has a distinctive body coloration with a yellow-brown mottled pattern and a dark chest. Its facial area features light coloring with speckles on the lower portion. This species is remarkably hardy and makes an excellent addition to a newly-established aquarium, thriving in a tank of 125 gallons or larger. While typically peaceful, the Foxface Lo may be territorial when housed with other rabbitfish. However, it can coexist with more aggressive fish and is relatively safe from predators thanks to its venomous dorsal spines. These rabbitfish are generally reef-safe, especially when provided with a varied diet of fresh vegetables and algae.
