The Oriental Sweetlips Fish (Plectorhinchus Orientalis) is known for its striking body pattern and coloration, resembling a mosaic of whites, browns, and yellows. As it matures, its body becomes mostly white with vertical black stripes and its fins turn yellow with black spots. This species has a carnivorous diet, mainly consisting of small shrimp, crustaceans, small fish, and worms, which makes them unsuitable for reef tanks. They thrive in FOWLR tanks with ample swimming space and hiding places among live rock. It is important to maintain good aeration in the tank and feed the Oriental Sweetlips Fish twice daily.
