Native to the Red Sea and the Western Pacific Ocean, the Red Honey Damsel or Cross’s Damsel, Neoglyphidodon crossi, is a resilient fish that can thrive in a variety of coral reefs and lagoons. These fish love to seek shelter in coral branches and crevices, posing no threat to their surroundings. In fact, Cross’s Damsel’s are the perfect complement to any reef aquarium. Despite their small size, they can reach up to 3 inches (7.5 centimeters) in captivity and live for up to 5 years or more. So, give your coral garden a splash of life with the Cross’s Damsel!
