- Lighting
Goniopora are rather flexible with lighting, however we always recommend starting them in a low light area (30 – 50 par) in the beginning, before slowly transitioning them to a higher light area should you wish to.
- Water Flow
Moderate to high water movement is recommended, just be sure to not have them blasted with flow from the same direction constantly.
-
Feeding
Goniopora derive most of their energy from their zooxanthellae. Goniopora often do better when fed, they can take small foods such as phytoplankton or specialised foods such as goniopower.
- Water Parameters
This is a general guideline, goniopora are rather sensitive to these parameters, especially to sudden changes or swings. It is ideal to keep all these parameters within range as they will change with time, due to goniopora being an LPS. A good guideline will be to target stable parameters as long as they are within a reasonable range.
