The Royal Dottyback, also known as Bicolor Dottyback or Bicolor Pseudochromis, features vibrant colors – purple in the front, and bright yellow in the back. It requires a minimum of 30 gallons of tank space. Despite its small size, this aggressive fish will bravely defend its territory against larger fish. It is also known to feed on ornamental shrimp and effectively control pesky bristleworms. Its diet should primarily consist of meaty foods such as brine shrimp and frozen preparations.
