The Snow White Socolofi (Pseudotropheus socolofi), known by many names including Albino Pindani or Snow White, is a freshwater fish from Lake Malawi, East Africa. Despite its territorial tendencies, this unique Cichlid is surprisingly friendly and gets along well with other non-aggressive fish.
The Snow White Socolofi Cichlid may reach up to 6 inches (15cm) when fully grown. Give them a spacious tank with 30 gallons, water heated to 24-26°C, and a pH level between 7.5 to 8.5. You can add live plants for sheltering, but these well-mannered cichlids will likely not cause any trouble. Feel free to include sand and driftwood for extra hiding spots and to mimic their native habitat.
With proper care, the Snow White Socolofi can survive up to 5 years.
