The Striped Blenny, also known as Gammistes Blenny, Striped Fang Blenny, or Striped Poison-Fang Blenny, has alternating black and yellow stripes that span its entire body. This species thrives in an aquarium environment, particularly in a 30-gallon or larger tank with ample live rock. The live rock provides both hunting grounds for small crustaceans and hiding spots. While usually not aggressive, the blenny may become defensive if fellow tank mates resemble its own shape. This species mainly feeds on chopped crustaceans, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and frozen herbivore food.
