The prominent feature of the Tail Spot Blenny is its distinct dark spot situated at the base of its tail. They also have a black and yellow band beneath each eye, which aids in their camouflage. This smaller blenny is known for its comical appearance, with large eyes and a small mouth. Typically found among crevices and rocks on the aquarium floor, the Tail Spot Blenny thrives in a tank of at least 10 gallons with ample live rock for grazing and hiding. It is essential not to cohabitate them with aggressive species that may intimidate or cause them to hide. As for its diet, the Tail Spot Blenny enjoys vegetable matter such as frozen and dried foods containing marine and blue-green algae. It also serves as a natural algae controller in the aquarium.
