The Wild Ocellaris Clownfish is stunning with its bright orange body and bold white and black stripes. A popular choice for aquarists of all levels, this Pomacentridae family member is easy to breed and an aggressive eater, accepting most meaty and frozen foods. It also lays eggs on a flat surface, which hatch in about 6-11 days depending on the water temperature. The fry will need to be reared in a separate aquarium and fed rotifers then baby brine shrimp. Also known as False Percula Clownfish, False Clown Anemonefish, or Anemone Demoiselle, this fish is sometimes mistaken for its similar but brighter relative, the Percula Clownfish. Ocellaris Clownfish have asymmetrical stripes and as they age, the coloration deepens to a solid orange.
